A summer skincare routine should focus on protection, hydration, and controlling excess oil. Pure + Kiwi has a comprehensive routine to keep your skin healthy and glowing during the hotter months!

SUN + SALT: Summer Skincare

1. Gentle Cleanser: Removes impurities and excess oil without stripping the skin.

Solution: > ROSE CLOUD (milky cleanser)

Kawakawa - Reducing inflammation contributes to a smoother and firmer appearance.
- Witch Hazel - a natural astringent, helps minimize inflammation, remove excess oil from the skin and tighten pores.
- Aloe Vera - an excellent natural moisturizer, helps hydrate the skin, leaving it soft and supple. It also has cooling and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and inflammation.
Sunflower Oil - is high in Oleic and vitamin E is highly moisturizing. It also soothes dry skin and reduces redness. 
Frequency of Use: 1-2 times a day

2. Mask: Provides a boost of hydration to keep the skin plump and refreshed.

Solution: > VELVET ROSE (plumping mask)

Kowhai - effective in skin calming and conditioning, helping to soften and smooth the skin.
Tripeptide-29 (plant derived) - significantly increase collagen synthesis and repair skin.
- Hyaluronic Acid - provides deep hydration and helping the skin retain moisture, resulting in a plump and supple appearance. It helps to improve skin elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG) - NAG reduces hyperpigmentation, increases collagen production, moisture content and elasticity of the skin and increases the speed of wound healing.
- Also incudes: Aloe Vera, Niacinamide, Licorice Root and Rose Hydrosol.
Frequency of Use: 1-2 times a week

3. Toner: Helps minimizes pores, controls oil, and soothes the skin.

Solution: > RECOVERY (restore toner)

Pohutukawa - native to New Zealand, known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.
Green Tea - protects against UVB damage and inhibits the breakdown of collagen.
Aloe Vera - has cooling and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and inflammation.
- Niacinamide (B3) - aids mature and sun damaged skin by improving its texture and moisture.
Also incudes: Witch Hazel, Licorice Root and Peppermint Hydrosol.

4. Serum: Provides deep hydration to plump and smooth the skin.

Solution: > BLOSSOM (hydrating serum)

Kowhai - effective in skin calming and conditioning, helping to soften and smooth the skin.
Tripeptide-29 (plant derived) - significantly increase collagen synthesis and repair skin.
- Panthenol - a humectant, meaning it attracts and retains water. This helps improve skin hydration, preventing dryness and promoting a smooth, supple complexion.

Hyaluronic Acid - provides deep hydration and helping the skin retain moisture, resulting in a plump and supple appearance. It helps to improve skin elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Turmeric Root Extract - contains curcumin, which is also a strong antioxidant, that helps to protect the skin from free radicals and environmental damage. It is also known for its skin-brightening properties. It helps to even out skin tone, diminish dark spots. 
Also incudes: Hydrolized Oat, Willow Bark, Aloe Vera and Vanilla Hydrosol.

6. Moisturize

A lightweight, non-comedogenic body milk that hydrates and brightens without feeling heavy.
