How Pure + Kiwi Began

Skincare for sensitive skin that wants comfort - not intensity.
Born in New Zealand. Made for reactive, eczema- and rosacea-prone, and hormonally sensitive skin.

Pure + Kiwi started as a mother’s solution for eczema - and became a calm-first method for anyone whose skin “reacts to everything.”

How it began..

When I moved from New Zealand to New York, I never imagined I’d create a skincare brand inspired by my homeland’s healing botanicals. In 2016, after my daughter was born, she developed severe eczema - red, itchy, painfully dry skin. Medications helped, but I wanted something gentler that could truly comfort her skin.

I couldn’t find skincare that felt both safe and effective, so I returned to what I knew: New Zealand botanicals and barrier support. My first creation - a Manuka Honey balm - helped soothe her flare days and became our family’s go-to for irritation and everyday comfort.

That small act of love became Pure + Kiwi.

The Difference

Most skincare pushes intensity. We prioritize consistency.

We blend New Zealand botanicals with proven skin-supporting actives at sensitive-skin-friendly levels - designed to calm, repair, and rebalance without the “push through the sting” approach.

Our Calm-First Method: Gentle Cleanse → Calm → Seal

A simple routine that’s comfortable enough to stick with (because that’s how sensitive skin improves).
