Tradition
New Zealand's indigenous Māori people have a rich tradition of using natural resources for health and skincare. We celebrate this heritage by incorporating ingredients used by the Māori in our products and highlighting their traditional uses.
Kiwi
A rich source of Vitamin C and E. Vitamin C, an antioxidant, helps protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. It also plays a key role in collagen synthesis, promoting skin elasticity and firmness. Kiwi botanicals have skin-brightening properties which helps inhibit melanin production, reducing the appearance of dark circles. Vitamin E helps protect the skin from damage. It is high in Alpha Linolenic Acid, which helps to maintain moisture preventing drying and scaling.
Pohutukawa
Native to New Zealand (NZ). Known as NZ's Christmas Tree because of its bright red blooms. The bark contains ellagic acid, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to soothe, condition and calm irritated or inflamed skin. It helps address certain skin concerns related to bacteria. Used topically in traditional Māori* herbal medicine for wounds and abrasions.

Manuka Honey
A super food sourced from the nectar gathered from New Zealand’s native Manuka tree. Manuka honey has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, primarily due to the presence of a compound called methylglyoxal (MGO). This makes it effective against bacteria, including those associated with skin infections. It also attracts and retains moisture leaving the skin hydrated and supple. These qualities aid several conditions, such as eczema and dermatitis.
Glacial Clay
Sourced from the foothills of New Zealand's Southern Alps mountain range. Formed through the combination of ancient volcanic ash and glacial water. Glacial clay has natural detoxifying properties that may help draw out impurities, excess oil and toxins from the skin. Provides gentle exfoliation, which removes dead skin cells, helping soften skin and balance skin tone. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe and calm irritated skin. Beneficial for all skin types.
